Custom Goods Sales and Shipping Policy

Francis Borsa, we specialize in crafting one-of-a-kind,  tailored precisely to your vision.

To ensure a smooth experience for both creator and customer, all custom orders are governed by the following policy. By placing a custom order, you agree to these terms. This policy reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship while protecting the unique nature of personalized goods.

1. Order and Custom Nature:Your custom goods are handcrafted to your exact specifications, including materials, design, size, and features. Due to their personalized and non-transferable nature, all custom items are final sale—meaning they cannot be resold, returned, or exchanged. We take pride in creating pieces that are truly yours, which is why production begins only after your input and approval.

2. Payment and No Refund Policy:Full Payment is required to initiate production, with the shipping costs and insurance due before shipment. All payments are non-refundable once production starts, as materials are sourced and work is custom-performed. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are available for custom orders. This aligns with standard industry practices for bespoke, handmade products. If approvals are not made in person, FaceTime is used. If Client opts out of inspection approval process, then paying for shipping serves as shipping approval. 

3. Approval Process:Before final production and shipment, we'll provide a detailed proof—such as photos, digital renders, or a live FaceTime/text walkthrough—for your review.  This step ensures alignment on design, quality, and any irregularities (e.g., sew patterns or gussets). Once approved, you waive all claims related to specifications, and no further changes or refunds are permitted.

4. Shipping Terms:We ship via your preferred carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx) to the address provided. Shipping costs are paid by the client. Domestic delivery typically takes 5-10 business days (depending on your preferred method); international shipments may vary. We are not liable for delays due to carrier issues, customs, unforeseen events, unavailability for receipt, porch theft, or exposure to the elements. For international orders, you are responsible for all duties, taxes, and fees.

5. Risk of Loss and Damage During Shipment:Title and risk of loss transfer to you upon handover to the carrier (FOB shipping point). You assume full responsibility for loss, damage, or destruction in transit, regardless of cause. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance at checkout. If your item arrives damaged, please file a claim directly with the carrier and retain all packaging for inspection—we cannot process carrier-related claims on your behalf. Opting out of insurance places the full burden of any loss on you.

6. No Coverage for Misuse or Abuse:We stand behind our craftsmanship during the creation process, but post-shipment, we're not liable for damage from misuse, abuse, or improper handling. This includes over-filling, exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., water, heat), or unauthorized modifications. HOwever you may do as you wish since there we do not accept claims.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties:All custom goods are sold "AS IS." We expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability ends upon delivery to the carrier—no additional warranties are provided. This is standard for handmade, custom items to focus on the artistry without undue exposure.

8. Inspection and Claims: No warranty expressed nor implied, bags approved and shipping approval gives consent to accept goods. 

9. Governing Law:This policy is governed by the laws of South Carolina, with disputes resolved in Greenville, SC.We appreciate your trust in Francis Borsa for your custom creations!
